I ran across this video this morning while I was doing some self-improvement stuff. I thought it might be relevant for someone. The general idea is that your subconscious acts independently of the conscious brain, so it works well to treat it as if it were a separate person for the purpose of breaking bad habits, and how you can use positive and negative reinforcement to re-train your subconscious.
