Growing up, were you repulsed/disgusted by sex/semen/mating?

I think having the two separate is a common problem with us. Like two different people.

 

No, I never was disgusted. I was messed up over the fact that I grew up in roman catholicism and those beliefs screwed me up in my youth for many years. Roman catholic teaching made me view God as a sadist who made his creatures suffer by imposing on them rules like Priests not being allowed to marry.

I was grossed out by body hair, especially for the bushes down there. I believe that was due to Japanese cartoon being body hairless and being Chinese since most ppl around me don't have much body hair....

 

I used to be repulsed by sex, because it was a taboo topic for me growing up. I now desire a relationship and am having a hard time with getting to know women because of my previous hang-ups.

 

I was first repulsed by hardcore porn, it was just too extreme for me as a 13 year old boy (now 35). But my mind became use to it and began to crave it. Sex and romance are different to me as well, but I'm able to have both in the same person, they are not mutually exclusive. But I can have romance with one person and feel lustful towards another at the same time without romance. But I think most guys are like that, you love someone, but you still find other women attractive and may have lustful thoughts towards them. Doesn't necessarily mean you act on the thoughts though.
