I'm curious to know of the board members who are "addicted" to porn/masturbation, how many of you NEED to quit and are rebooting cause you suffer from porn induced erectile dysfunction? Coming into the board, I figured that's why 99.9% of the men were on here, but I think I have read accounts where some men don't have PIED. I have suffered from PIED for over a decade. I won't go into detail how effects me, but, pretty much think in every possible way it has. I have begun a reboot today, August 1st; I really don't know what to expect. I have tried so many, that I'm just of the mindset "here we go again, but this one has to work". Funny thing is my last reboot lasted 18 days, a record for me of a 13 year addiction, but I felt really no anxiety, withdraws, etc. Funny how the streak came to an end, had a sex date lined up and she cancelled on me. I walked into my place and went straight to the computer for porn. I was possessed, which I now recall as kind of scary. How it had so much power over me that night.......

Not only am I here because of PIED but simply porn and masturbation as a whole. I never meant to get addicted, it just happened and in the back of my mind I knew one day I'd have to call it quits. I've been addicted for 8 years and had PIED since probably late 2013 going to 2014 (that's when I noticed)
But I have to save my sex life...to make it plain. I wanna have kids in the future (so I must retain my semen) and I wanna be able to satisfy my woman in every way possible. So in order to accomplish all of this, I have to quit porn for the rest of my life. Just me knowing my body and genetics, this PIED won't last forever. I'm a young 23 year old that just has to take hold on what's been causing these discrepancies and I'll be back where I need to be.
Fuck porn... but the addict in me will miss it

I think that's one of the variables in quitting this "addiction", missing the porn. With me, in previous attempts, it was always well what's the new update on this site, or that site. I bet they have a new 18 year old cutie on this site, or I bet the Latina site has a new really young Latin girl. All this Shit will literally warp your mind. But the one thing I have learned in trying to quit, is you literally have to stop watching it, looking for it. Regardless of how much you want it, cause if you don't, it will suck you back in. That's certain.

Couldn't agree with you more brother, that was exactly my case. Wanting to look at the new updates, especially with me because I got addicted to bbw porn. So during my beginning stages of this reboot I used to check the websites for updates. But that's why I decided to go hard mode, eliminating every trigger possible. I wanna completely heal from this shit, it serves no purpose in my life.
