Hi everyone, I have not used friction (outside of sex) or porn to ejaculate in almost a year. With this "ability" would you consider it as masturbation?
I'd clearly consider it as masturbation. For me it's not about the technique, it's abbot the outcome.
I agree, it starts with the thoughts and reasoning behind any indulgence. This "ability" was brought about from an inflamed prostate due to frequent ejaculations. It's actually quite difficult to overcome but now i feel im beginning to stop it at its source instead of down the road, as it can be very easy to slip into thoughts that lead to it. Sometimes its almost involuntary. Makes me really have to concentrate on being unmovable in my convictions and rethink why i need to not think a certain way.
Prostatitis and years of using nothing but my imagination to masterbate. Twisted up my head into some seriously kinky ways. Would not recommend
There was a time when I worked very hard on getting this "ability" and I never managed to perfect it, although I got to the point where I needed very minimal contact. That was before I went NoFap. And I heard myths about people being able to do so, as far back as middle school. Is it masturbation? Yes. According to an ancient and accepted definition: "By masturbation is to be understood the deliberate stimulation of the genital organs in order to derive sexual pleasure. " Ejaculation must be triggered, unintentionally (ex. "wet dream", medical condition) or deliberately (your will is engaged, you consented to the stimulation that led the genitalia to trigger the ejaculation and associated orgasm). The nature of the stimulation is irrelevant to the definition of masturbation - what matters is that your will is engaged - you actively wanted to orgasm outside of the ordinary context of the genital organs. Keyword: consent. If a particular medical condition makes it extremely easy and almost accidental to trigger the issue, your "fault" is significantly reduced, and you should focus on the before: how to avoid the occasion that led to the ever-so-slight trigger. If something literally popped in front of you, then it's hardly your fault at all. I say this because guilt is deleterious to being fap-free. I don't mean to give too verbose a definition, but I found it essential in my journey to dig to the root of the fapping process and understand that unless I radically turn my will in a different direction and confine genital stimulation to a specific context, no amount of external trigger avoidance would fix a problem that is in my mind. Hope this helps.
I discovered this ability when i was on a 60 days streak approximatly, thas was last year. It makes me break the streak. I really never heard about that , i don't how i reinvented this.. I would prefered to ignore this... but the good point is that i started à new streak 6 days ago. This time is the good one.
