Hands free orgasm and health risks

Hello All,

Was hoping the community might be able to assist with a more scientific inquiry. Essentially, I’m looking to decrease the proliferation of porn and masturbation in my life for a myriad of reasons. Chief amongst them is a mystery back pain that’s been plaguing me for years. After recent research I’ve surmised that there is a potential connection between my masturbation addiction and this pain.

Some of you may say “duh” but I never thought this was the case. Intuitively I didn’t connect sexual satisfaction to body health and all research that I came across confirmed that there weren’t any health risks to excessive masturbation (at least physiologically) only health benefits. I can now see that this was misinformation and there have been plenty of men with my same issue and so I’m here to test if no masturbation cures the pain.

With that being said obviously attempting to curb this behavior is super challenging but I’m willing to try it out as the lower back pain (located to the right of spine just northwest of the sacroiliac joint) is severely limiting my quality of life.

My question has to do with hands free orgasms via erotic hypnosis. I recently stumbled upon this and was surprised at its effectiveness. In theory I wouldn’t need to “watch” porn and I wouldn’t be expelling ejaculatory fluid since the orgasm produced is dry and prostate driven. However, I’m reluctant to consider this as a weaning off type of alternative because I’m uncertain of whether I’m actually avoiding the true killers of excessive masturbation which the studies say are the over production of sex hormones, dopamine, etc.

Does anyone have expertise in this area? I’d like to explore the answer of this particular question: Because hands free orgasms do not typically involve the release of ejaculatory fluid, would it then be considered a safe alternative? Or is orgasm, regardless of how you achieve it, detrimental to your health if it’s in excess. Put in other words, what are the health risks of erotic hypnosis and hand afree orgasms? Is it basically the same as regular masturbation when it comes to the toxicity of hormones despite the lack of ejaculatory fluid?

Thank you in advance!

Hi. Welcome to forum!

Semen retention has many benefits. It conserves nerve energy (type of electricity) which your body can then use in many other ways such as improving immune system and better memory to name couple. That is what people call sexual energy transmutation. Also it conserves many nutrients that are required to make sperm, which are wasted when you masturbate.

That all being said tho erotic hypnosis is pornography. Audio pornography but still pornography. So if you use it you are not porn free. And it has all the same negative effects as visual porn. Watch this video, it explains how the mechanism of porn addiction work and what it does to the body and brain. All the negative effects you still develop with audio porn. All the dopomine over-stimulation and everything. So no, it is not safe alternative.

Hands free orgasm is also masturbation. Just hands free masturbation. Some members will decided to reboot while masturbating cos they see porn as being only problem for them. Some members will also see masturbation as a problem too which they want to get rid of or learn to control. So they will also abstain from masturbation as well. And some will only abstain for time being of reboot, cos then brain heals faster. But it does not have so much to do with ejaculation as with limited dopomine release within the brain.

So if you do not want to give up masturbation then hands free masturbation is fine. Or if you do not mind the fact that your reboot will be slower, then it's also fine. But do not use audio porn. That is a big no! Learn how to do some of these Tantric meditations so you can do hands free orgasms without the use of audio porn. I recommend books by Mantak Chia. I don't think he has anything specific on hands free orgasm. But if you learn how to move your sexual energy you can then figure it out yourself pretty easily. Just reverse the flow.

Anyhow, make sure you crate a personal journal thread in Reboot Logs section and blog there on a regular basis. As well as just generally be active participant in various forum discussions. I recommend this to everybody new here because it's the major thing that helped me when I was first starting. Just lurking on forums, reading and learning is great. But it usually is so much more powerful to engage. It helps to keep us motivated and accountable when we are active part of community. And keeps this in front of our minds so we don't forget about importance of it and slip away in our old habits. Sharing is also therapeutic. This is a major reason why AA meetings work so good. But that was developed before internet era. These days we can get most of the same benefits online through communities like this. So don't underestimate the power of active participation.

I would also like to suggest you to look into mindfulness meditation. It has helped me personally tremendously to learn how to deal with urges. It takes a while to get good at it and notice results, so you need to be consistent with it, but once you do it's very powerful. It has been used by sages for thousands of years to deal with various issues of the mind. And in recent decades the science is also catching up to what ancient sages have know for centuries. Meditation these days are widely used as very effective tool by psychologists for treating addiction and by neurologists for supporting recovery of the brain. It is a great exercise for the brain the same way as jogging is great exercise for the body. Check out this Ted talk, it gives a good idea of what's it about when it comes to philosophy. As far as practical side of it there is this awesome smartphone app called Headspace for guided meditations to get you started.

Wish you lot's of strength and success in your reboot journey!

Welcome! I'm glad you're here.

I am not familiar with the experience you describe; specifically, an orgasm without ejaculation. I've only heard of it.

Further, I wonder who would really be able to offer a "scientific" answer to this here? Most of us are here because we decided we wanted to change our habits with porn, masturbation or sex, and that this site can help. I can't make any scientific claims; I can only say this site has helped me, and continues to help.

I downloaded the headspace app and watched the tedx video. Both resources are definitely going to be a game changer for me. Thank you for sharing.
