Has anyone else here gotten into a flatline without actively rebooting?

Or am I the only one who has ever crashed into a flatline after an orgasm and has been in it for a year or more?

So you continued watching porn without an erection?

I did, because I'm having trouble. It's clearly an addiction that I'm struggling with. Please do not judge me.

    I recently joined a gym.

Oh I don't judge you! Sorry it sounded like that. I just wanted to clarify (some people think that a flatline is just - "just" - being depressed).

Well... in another post you mentioned that you are struggling with depression and depression can cause ED - Or it may be directly porn induced. Gary Wilson often speaks of people that can't get it up even to porn anymore. I myself sometimes have problems when I reset but try to at least limit myself to vanilla porn or keep myself from instantly fast-forwarding to "the good parts". I then too can't get a full erection. I guess we could loosely fit in the same category there.

See it as another motivator to get the fuck clean ;)

You joined a gym that's a great! However I'd advise you to do a specific sport too maybe MA. You're around people and you actually learn something new there. Keeps this brain of yours occupied, teaches focus etc. Also you can usually practice MA at home without any equipment or outside in a park. It gives you more flexibility. Otherwise you have to buy dumbbells or adhere to the opening hours at the gym or do bodyweight training at home which is a perfectly fine way to train but boring and exhousting af in my opinion.

I would rejoin a karate school, but money is kind of tight at the moment. Between being stressed out with e.d., joining the gym, my awful redundant part-time job, driving lessons (woot), I do agree that I need to be around people in the long-run to heal.

Driving lessons are expensive and as is the gym right now. I do agree I need *something more* to be around people. I feel emotionally lonely and in the need of making new friends and having an activity to do them with. I was going to join an LGBT center, but that fucking didn't pan out so I'm annoyed.

I need an activity to be with people, mostly physical and I have no career goal at the moment. It sucks.

Men often get them following a relationship break up or other stressful life event.
