Has anyone just thrown the whole day away?

I think we’ve all done it. I did in the beginning. It’s the addict in our brains completely winning the battle. Not much progress is lost if we DO hop right back on the horse. It’s not always easy though.

 

I had that happen last Saturday. I relapsed and decided to indulge in porn a few more times before I snapped out of it. I'm still paying the price now as I have terrible insomnia this week. My brain won't let me sleep because it craves more. I've gotta stop doing this to myself.

 

Last time I relapsed I relapsed hard, probably for about a month. If I relapsed in the morning I would just tell myself what the hell, you’ve already failed, why not just keep going all day. So that’s what I’d do, fail in the morning and binge on porn the rest of the day.

 

I am currently going through this. I have this issue where if I relapse my thought process goes to. "well i gotta set the day counter to 0 anyway so lets just binge on the porn and fap till ur heart's content".

I'm still new to the giving up porn addiction thing, so I don't have the best tips on how to get out of it. The most basic thing I do know is that pmo urges do indeed pass even though it seems like they wont and the only way out is to fap.
