Have I been doing NoFap incorrectly?

I have been on this journey since January 2018, since I discovered NoFap, in order to stop my porn addiction and cure my PIED. I would say, for 95% of the time, likely more, I have been PMO free. However, my PIED has not gone away. My condition has been at its best after a couple days after fapping after a long streak(60 days+), then it would go back to being semi-dead. By the way, I have not been able to attain a 90 streak, yet.
    Is not doing PMO, enough?
Do I have to do other things, in order to cure my PIED?

Are any of these preventing my progress?
    1) I have had the bad habit of watching YouTube videos most of the day. Whether in the background or actually viewing them. Playing video games was also a problem and just casually roaming the internet on my laptop.
    2) I have been a loner throughout college. I'm 23 now and never did anything in college regarding activities or making friends. I currently have no friends, except for some high school friends who I rarely talk to since we live far from each other.
    3) I have had few interactions with girls, both intimately and platonic.
    4) Constantly checking Instagram and Twitter for anything new. I have eliminated Instagram recently by the way.

  2. Anything promotes sexual arousing including Fantasizing, Edging, surfing social media or interacting with girls (else than relationship) is a part of PMO, you have to eliminate it to recover.

If it's feasible I might suggest trying to find a professional to start having regular talking sessions with, in conjunction with NoFap. Probably a male, but somebody you feel you can trust, which may take trying a few different people out. Food for thought. Edit: I'm 26, BTW.
