Hey everyone, I'm posting here after a hiatus of a year and a half. Went close to a 120 days No PMO . Until I went back down that dark and lonely road. Was lost for a few months until I found someone and started dating. It was great. Managed to stop the PMO for a while until it reared its ugly head this november ( damn somehow the holidays always suck). And its putting a lot of stress on my relationship. I ve been lonely for such a long time and I finally have someone who likes me. And I seem to be throwing it all away by indulging in PMO. The guilt kills. It destroys.
I cant keep doing PMO. I want to settle down.
I'm going to check in every day. I ve got to beat this , this time.
    Thanks for listening everyone.
    Regards

How is your relationship, right now? What does PMO provide you that your partner cannot?

Holidays suck indeed lol. Day by day, keep your head up!

  3. With a good battle plan you can beat this horrible addiction.

About the holidays, with me it is the other way around. I was able to quit pmo after a holiday as that gave me a 2 week head start. Maybe this can work for you too, but then with busy work days.

Thank you for sharing this brother, we're all cheering you on!
I think it helps if you can find ways to encourage yourself too. A 120 day streak is a hell of an achievement to celebrate, and if you did it once, you can do it again.
An ex-alcoholic friend of mine of 30 years' sobriety told me that one of the best strategies for beating addiction was simply to focus on the present day; "just for today, I won't PMO." I always try to remember this. It makes the task seem much less daunting, and much more manageable.
