Have you tried any supplements to aid recovery?

    Hi guys,

    whenever I am on my streaks I have found that certain supplements contribute to my overall health and reboot potential. I do not suggest that these supplements have super-power giving potential. They're basically products that help me through my streaks in one way or another. How much placebo plays a part in this process I do not know. Here are some I would recommend people to try.

    1. Ashwagandha - This herbal supplement is the best known to help people suffering from sexual exhaustion (overmasturbation, porn addiction) It is known to replenish the nervous system from stress and overexertion. There are many other benefits from this herb such as - increased immunity, increased memory and concentration, anti-inflammatory and reduced anxiety and depression. I would say so far this is the best supplement I have used. I can actually feel the effects the first time I take it. Since it is a herb there is very little harm it can do to the body as well, but I would advise seeing a doctor before starting on it in case you have any adverse reactions to it.

    2. ZMA - ZMA is basically a supplement containing Zinc, Magnesium and Vitamin B6. When we PMO we tend to lose a lot of Zinc and Magnesium through ejaculation. What this supplement can do is replenish your zinc stores, protect your prostate and increase your sleep quality. The supplement is used by natural bodybuilders to increase their natural healthy levels of testosterone. Some side-effects I have felt on ZMA are a bit of drowsiness and lucid dreams. However I would suggest taking them half hour before bed which is perfect for restful sleep and replenished sexual organs.

    3. Fish Oil - I bet a lot of you have heard of fish oils such as omega 3 and their health benefits; they range from healthier prostates, healthier hearts and also healthier brains. I believe this supplement has helped to reduce some of the damage I have done from excessively masturbating.

    4. Green Smoothies - Green smoothies are basically smoothies made of a vegetable base such as spinach with fruits for flavouring and extra nutrition. Plant based smoothies can really help to detoxify the body from excessive pollutants which get removed the fiber. Also I feel very energetic after taking them, giving me a boost for the whole day. I literally feel lighter and more active from taking them on a daily basis. They also take only 5 minutes to prepare.


    I have also stopped taking any processed foods and sugars as well as junk food. Further to that I have completely cut off caffeine other than a tea in the morning for a month now. So lets see how it goes. I'm currently back on my reboot after getting back on the PMO bandwagon.


    I'm curious to hear what supplements and foods any of you take or do not take to help you through your reboot.
