Just a quick question will having sex with my wife make the reboot longer or will it help it since I'm having a relationship with an actual person rather than an artificial fantasy.

Let me know what you think!

I can't speak for others but what I'm trying to overcome here isn't sex, it's the addiction to a behavior which I find weak and depleating, and that is the daily habit of PMO.

Also, avoiding masturbation and porn can greatly boost your sexual performance, and since it's your duty as a man to keep your woman satisfied, it's a win-win situation. I say go for it.

Edit: That being said, maybe it's a good idea to hold off on sex for a couple weeks to give your energy level a kick. TBH I'm interested in seeing other people opinions on this too.

From other posts I have been reading, it seems that at least in cases with people with porn induced erectile dysfunction, being with a girl slowed down their reboot, alot of these guys had to tell their girls their situation and get her to wait.

This is what I have been struggling with myself. The "chaser effect" has hit me hard today. I slept with an ex yesterday that I really should have not have and did it mostly just to get off and sure enough today I have relapsed twice PMO and had not PMO'd in 64 days. I always felt that after I had sex it just made it that much hard to get back into the normal mentality...

Interesting thoughts, I do find it hard the next day after having sex to stay away from P but I can usually control it. I can't imagine it will every get that much easier even after a reboot to not be tempted after sex since it triggers so many different memories of P. I do find that not PMO ing sex is a lot better and I feel closer to my wife.

But if waiting is the best way to do it, then how long should you wait til you have sex again? or Rather what are good indications that you have "rebooted" and now can have sex without have the chaser effect? or will that point never come?
