Hello everyone! New member from Italy!

  1. Hello everyone!
    I'm a 21 years-old student from Italy. Catholic.
I always watched P in my life...all begun with a video on a cell phone of a cousin.
At the beginning i thought that it was normal and funny, i used to M 3 times a day (sometimes 5).

But in the last year now i'm understanding that i am just ruining myself and my life.

During the time i was becoming more and more lazy with clouded mind. Also...always in a bad mood, shyness troubles and negative thoughts.
My relationships with people are not very good, but luckily i have several good friends, but not girls (just one time i had a frequentation for 10 months).
I'm here not just because i want to improve the quality of my social life, but also (and expecially) to become more active, productive and efficient in everything i do.

Infact i'm not thinking about girls now...but only about my studies and sport.
I play amateur basketball. It is one of my greatest love i my life! For this reason i am trying to become fit, to be more reactive and useful to team on court and make good stats!

That's it. I have read several threads here that gives me a lot of motivation to be a better person and i am grateful to you for this!

    Hope we will reach success!

    Best greetings!

  2. Hello and welcome to NoFap! I'm glad you came to the light in regards to seeing the evil of porn.
Those are great goals! I will say though, you plan something and God will completely change it. When I first joined NoFap getting a boyfriend was the last thing on my mind. "It'll happen when you aren't focusing on it" turned out to be true! Remain open to love ;)

Here is the Catholic group. Good luck on your journey!

Welcome! This place is a great resource, so stick around, get educated on PMO addiction, and make some connections. Accountability Partners are great to have, and starting a journal can be a good way to track your progress.
Also, if you aren't already, start taking advantage of the sacraments, especially confession. It is a huge help. It can be hard to talk about this stuff, even through a screen, but it's easier if you write it all down on a piece of paper and read it off. Then burn the paper, of course.

Welcome to NoFap where you are amongst friends who are here to encourage you and sometimes challenge you but not judge you.

The enemy is here to steal, kill and destroy. What are your current strategies for combating the enemy called PMO?

  11. Thank you D.J.
My strategy is to be focused on my studies and sport, but also to remind to myself the importance of rebooting process (that gives me the motivation). Plus, i am trying to don't remain in my bedroom (but to be out of the house) and to don't be distracted by sexual fancies.
