Hello Fellow Fapstronauts

Hey, guys!

For anyone reading Happy New Year! I feel quite confident about this year and apart of it is due to me recently starting NoFap. I came across NoFap from YouTube last week and was quite interested, so I started it, but it only lasted for 5 days... I relapsed 3 days ago, but I started yesterday and I feel confident about it. I plan on starting a journal along with this new journey, so you can find that here in this thread.

I feel I should follow up this introduction with a little bit about myself. I am 18 years old and a senior in high school. I live in Ohio and lived here my entire life. I was exposed to porn and masturbation along with it when I was around 10 or 11 by my cousin. Ever since it has become more a part of me and I feel it may be taking a negative toll on my life and it's about time I turned it around.

The reason I am starting NoFap is because masturbation has become part of my life and I feel it has been negatively affecting me for years now. I masturbate almost daily to every couple days. I don't masturbate to porn videos and all, but usually pictures or gifs on the internet. Honestly, I am ready to put that all away. It's my last few months in high school and it's time for a change for the better. I'll be off in the "real world" before I know it.

It's a brand new year and it's a great time to start! I came to the forums because I saw people in the same situation as me and even in the YouTube videos I have seen online. I know that I'm not the only one, but after being exposed to the community people out there in the world struggle just like me. I'm not here just for self-improvement, but I am also here to help others. We are all in this together. Anyways I'm going to close up this post with the Rocky Theme Song.
