I'm 28 year old girl and I'm hooked on p.... and sex.. (although I know I'm not forever going to be...).. I have watch it since I was teenager and have met a lot of guys... but I think it's really common now-a-days to see a lot of guys... I'm really ashamed of this and myself. I hate myself literally, all of my thoughts and body and I don't like myself anymore at all... i have lost now a little weight and Exerciced and been with my family a lot but it doesnt take this shit out of me. It's like you are trapped somewhere you dont want to be and people are pushing and pushing you forward and you start to hate them because everything is too much... or some people just cant understand. I hate when some voice reminds me of something... or when I'm really ashamed. I try to tell nice things to myself but that doesnt even help.. I know that acceptance helps.. but I don't know how to do it...
    How to manage with this?

Thanks if you read it :) and pm if you want to talk about it. ^^

    Hello there!

I am also a woman but I'm a little bit younger than you. Don't worry there's a section here for women undergoing reboot and not all who suffers are guys, although there are a lot of them compared to us. Just because most women aren't talking about it doesn't mean that none of them are struggling. Don't feel like you are alone because you are not alone. Back in the past, I thought there was something wrong with me because I thought no other woman suffers with it. I have told some of my friends but they never really said anything about struggling with it so I thought that I was on my own. I was wrong. One of my friends also does it but I think she is not quite addicted to it the same way I am. There are also some articles I found about other women who have spoken about this issue however it is mostly directed to Christianity (IDK if that's what you believe in so I will not talk about it).

Don't hate yourself. Don't be so hard on yourself. Yes it might be too difficult for you right now but the good thing is that you are starting to make things better because you decided that you want to put a stop on this addiction. That's the first step to greatness. You realised the most important thing and started to seek help to overcome your battles. Don't dwell too much on the shame instead start walking towards the path you want to be in. Stop letting these things hinder your progress because you are more than what you did and certainly more than what happened in the past. I'm not going to tell you to forget them because those things are necessary to be reminded of the lessons that you currently know now and most importantly to remind you of who you were. Some people might think it's not good to be reminded of what happened in the past but if you are reminded of how it feels like to be there, you wouldn't want to go back. It has taken minutes, hours and years from you. When you are reminded of the past, speak life into it.

This is what happens when I'm reminded of my past:

Me: I AM so hopeless because of what I did back in the PAST
    Counter attack that with
"I WAS hopeless but now I AM full of hope because of what I am CURRENTLY doing"

    Shed light to your darkness.

    Accept where you are AND
Attract positivity in your life by:
Apply - This is the important part because this is where you ACT on the things that you are motivated by. This is the part where you DO your part. Don't just quit, change. Eradicate porn from your life and change it to something else. Invest your energy into something else which can probably be a new hobby.

There are definitely a lot of girls that are also addicted to porn. There was a college statistic that 98% (lol, no surprise probably should have been 100% the other 2% were lying lmao) of guys and around 35% of females were watching porn on a regular basis.

Welcome to NoFap where you are amongst friends who are here to encourage you and sometimes challenge you but not judge you.

The enemy is here to steal, kill and destroy. What are your current strategies for combating the enemy called PMO?

I think maybe doing something else could help me and not doing things in the same way.
