    Hi all,

I’m a 28-year-old heterosexual man, relatively happy and successful in terms of relationships and career, but in need of a proper reboot to get a clearer mind.

When I first got into NoFap in late 2016, I took it very seriously and did not relapse until early 2018 when I decided to give a little reward to myself just for the sake of it. Didn’t feel bad about it at all, but ever since that, porn and fapping has slowly crawled back to my life sporadically, sometimes once a month, sometimes once a week, and now I’d rather stop it altogether, and aim to be clean for the rest of the year, at least.

This is mainly because (1) future holds very interesting and important things career-wise, so I need to get some peace of mind in order to not fuck it all up, and (2) I’m happily engaged to a wonderful woman and would rather do my best for the relationship rather than be so distracted by porn, or even worse, Instagram, which is a terrible lure. Daily eye candy does no good.

I yearn for the feeling that I had during my previous NoFap journey – boost in energy, focus, presence, sexual strength – and that’s what I’m aiming at on this round too.

I’ve previously only kept a diary for myself so I’m looking forward to talking about the process with fellow nofappers.

    Cheers!

  2. Welcome! Sounds like you have good motivation to stick with it. Take it one day at a time. The benefits of having a mind free from P will come back if you give it time.

Thanks! That last sentence is especially useful to keep in mind.
