I last posted here...well, let's see...it must be more than 5 years ago. I spent years in therapy after my first marriage fell apart, much of which I recounted here on this site. I subsequently met a lovely woman, and a little over a year ago we got married. I still struggle from time to time, but I'm so much better than before. My life has changed so much, all for the better. Part of that is down to the friends I made here. I don't know if I could have made it through the darkest times without them. But I did. It is possible. I did it. You can, too. Truly.
 
@The Eleven !! I'm so glad you came back, and the fact that you're doing well makes it even better. :)

Although I'm on the other side of the PA issue, this is exactly how I feel, too. When I accidentally stumbled upon NoFap over 9 years ago, I was at the lowest point of my entire life, and there wasn't much hope on the horizon that it would ever get better. However, the friends I've made here have made all the difference for me. Without this community, I would've continued my downward spiral and likely wouldn't still be on Earth today.

Thank you for coming back to give us an update as well as a message of hope.

Also, congratulations on your marriage! I hope you continue moving forward in your progress and that you've found the happiness you so well deserve.
