Gives you a new perspective on people. I find that appropriately appreciating others helps me to handle my urges, and this book details the life of someone struggling with DID (dissociative identity disorder), so you can appreciate multiple personalities at once! Maybe it will help you in this way.

It is a book on controlling one's own emotions. Very insightful on how thinking and feeling works. It may assist in helping with controlling urges.

It is controversial but I think what he says is also very straight forward and real and we need more of that

 

Eckhart Toll is very good, I agree. I especially liked "A New Earth" by him.

 

Anything by Robert Weiss would be perfect .
