I've been trying to quit fapping for past 4 weeks after 2 years of addiction. I keep relapsing i dont know what to do nothing is helping. My longest streak is 6 days but edging so i dont think thats special. Give me best tips to success and stop edging. Thanks!
quick tips: delete all links, downloaded p and profiles. Unfollow 'hot' influencers and avoid anything hot or nsfw. put your computer where people can see you: windows are great. always have a list of others things to do when you feel the urge. tell someone about your problem. replace pmo with something usefull and satisfying. don't expect quick results; this is a life changing period. Good luck! (gotta run now)
Hey man, due to your addiction you got a weakened willpower. First step to leaving your addiction behind is to get back your willpower. The will is something you have to train. You have to build up resistance against these urges. There are some things that will help you: - do sport for 1 hour every day - eat healthy - meet friends, talk to people - reduce your smartphone and internet time - go out for a walk in nature - get sunlight These are things which will strenghten your willpower. Quitting Porn will bring up the emotions you numbed, this may be very scary, but hang on at this point. In most cases you will feel much better at around 55 days. This varies from person to person. Fapping may not be an option in your thoughts. Don't think of women, don't watch them on instagram or any social media, avoid social media. You have to build up a healthy lifestyle, doing your things with conciousness. Learn to control your focus. Focus on the things that are good for you. Never allow your thoughts to focus on sex or butts. Don't edge. You can do it!
Welcome to nofap! To add to what everyone else has stated, definitely find ways to distract yourself - start working out or reading or pick up a hobby or something. Something to fill the time where you might otherwise fap. I also find listening to classical music reduces my urges if I'm horny. I also recommend wearing briefs instead of boxers if you don't already.

Welcome to the Nofap community. The No PMO journey is not easy but worth the effort. The community will support you. I see your sincere effort to get rid of addiction. 6 days of no PMO is great. Maybe you want to install a day counter and make some commitment (like 14 or 30 days of NOPMO) - not to the community but to yourself. What always helps me to fight against the urges: encouraging other fapstronauts here in the forums. You are much stronger than you think.
In the most basic terms (and I KNOW its easier said than done,) Keep your hand off your penis. Sounds too simple, and I've obviously struggled with that myself or else I wouldnt be here. But to stop masturbating, you have to stop edging. And to stop edging, you have to stop touching yourself, at all. I've realized I've had a habit of keeping my hand close to or on my penis for YEARS, and it probably has been there since I was a kid. And I dont mean in public or anything like that of course, but at home, in private. If I'm sitting at computer, or on couch to take nap, or getting into bed, or whatever, I'd realize my hand is down there. Keep it away, at all costs. Just stop touching yourself. There are lots more things to do that can help, and I encourage you to take the advice others have given. But in its most basic form, just got to stop touching. Its a first step, but ultimately, maybe the most important. Good luck!
