Help guys! Im in my 4th week of nofap and all the good feelings and sensations started disappearing as of week 2, and this week has been hell on earth, im flatlining, and having extreme difficulties focusing and learning new things, I simply cannot focus, is this normal? Is it related to nofap? And if yes, how long will this last?

It could very well be due to PMO addiction. I'm not sure how long it will last, everyone is different. Right now you just need to do the best you can in areas of your life you can control. Staying physically healthy with diet, exercise, and proper sleep should also help tons.

This is normal. It is variable by person. The only way to get through it is to continue NoFap and No-PMO.

There is very good information on the YourBrainOnPorn website.

Hmmm... Thank you guys, it's just it's a pretty scary feeling because it's as if i am losing some of cognitive abilities, the things i know how to do are pretty easy and I do them automatically however trying to solve a new problem for example makes me feel so overwhelmed and I can hardly get myself to concentrate.

And btw what I noticed is that my brain craves every physical activity that I do, and im not talking just about exercicing or walking, even cleaning dishes or cleaning my room, it gives me a huge feeling of satisfaction and peace.

Anyway that you for your inputs guys, im checking out the YBOP links.

That's normal too. Your brain is re-wiring to the real world. Repetitive physical tasks can be very therapeutic and so can rythmic melody in nature or ambient music. You should take advantage of these things once you notice them because it will aid you in recovery. It can help take your mind away and bring you peace in a healthy way.

Most PMO addicts have similar mental symptoms, like loss of concentration and inability to focus. This is due to the brain being accustomed to a consistent spike of super-stimuli and extreme dopamine. This leads to brain damage, including loss of grey and white matter in the brain and hypofrontality.

To heal from the brain damage, you must commit to no-PMO. It takes 90+ days for the brain damage to start reversing. Often much, much longer. And you can never go back to PMO because it will trigger the same mutated reward pathways to lead you into brain damage again and again.
