Hey guys I just thought to share some thoughts and tricks that have been useful for me during my journey!

    1. You dont want it, it doesn't exist for you
Early on in the stage of rebooting the thoughts and images try to creep back on you and the most important thing is to NOT ENTERTAIN the thoughts related to P in any way. So if you notice them coming up, sap yourself instantly and focus on smth else. If you entertain them, you only intensify the desire. So the goal is to remove everything related to P in your life, it doesn't exist for you.

    2. Build the real and good
If you havent had much/at all real sexual experiences in your life it could be that you need to assist yourself in recovering by imagining yourself having sex/being with a partner in general. This also allows you to get a taste of how amazing it could be, as I believe people can find it difficult to get the true motivation to change if they don't really know how good it could be be it in sexual things or obesity etc. On top of this, you are then steering the ship towards the right direction, as during the reboot process your sexuality could be confused at some point. All in all, time and abstinence is your greatest ally, but imagination could be helpful.

    3. Fix your mindset about it
I believe there are 2 things that prevent success in whatever endeavour if these are not met. Not powerful enough desire to change and a wrong perspective and mindset. Its better if you see the struggle as your advantage. Allow me to explain. If you see the craving etc. As a negative thing, you are giving strength to it. However, if you were to see it as for example a time when you heal and get closer to your goal, you will far more likely stay consistent. If it helps, think about getting rid of this as if you are paying your debts now. You are responsible for the mess. So now its time to get rid of it and better your life.

    4. Remove the possibility of relapsing
Upon an urge, dont stay at your phone or computer. Its far more risky. Just leave them and go do something else. If its really bad, just go outside entirely. Cravings are just temporary, and by getting away from the "danger zone" as I like to call it, you increase your chances of success tenfold.

    5. Just live your life bro
Be patient and do the things that make you genuinely happy. Dont just count the days. How many times you think about meth for example? Exactly, none. The same thing with this. It doesnt exist for you. You do the things that make you really happy and benefit you. The old ways dont even cross your mind.

Hope this helps, remember just to give it time and practice folks!

I don't want to plan to fail. But if I do relapse, I want to stick with this.

    Thanks for your post.

Love the advice man. What stuck for me was "not a strong enough desire to change" and how the struggle is AN ADVANTAGE. Hating it is an ADVANTAGE. So encouraging to see others struggle and actually become free. I've been free of it before and I'm hungry for that freedom now. Wish me luck.

Yes the cravings and temptations are temporary like everything else in this life, and that is good thing to remember so we do not succumb to PMO.

Hey @Warrior36 those are amazing tips. I will take them on board for sure. I want to change. And yes by feeling negative about the act, I am essantially giving it power. It ain't nothing. I've got way more important things in life to conquer! Thanks for the motivation.
