I have a couple of people in my life who I know for a fact pmo waaay too much, and probably don't realize how much that is to blame for their lack of motivation and confidence. My brother in particular is in awful conditions because he is always at home and has no enthusiasm for anything which demands he leave the house.

How would you try to convince them about the benefits of quitting porn? It is already tough enough for someone to decide to quit on their own, I'm sure it would be uncomfortable for someone else to tell you "stop jacking off". I feel like my brother is wasting so much of his life and it sucks not doing anything, but at the same time I know that the wrong approach on my part might shut him down to listening further.
 
I could have written your post myself. My brother is in the same position wasting his life away and I'm convinced it's driven by PMO. I feel lucky in that PMO hasn't had the detrimental effects on me that it has had on him, but I still consider it an issue for me.

Could I speak to my brother about it, no I don't think so. He is so withdrawn I find it difficult to talk to him about anything these days.

The ted talk videos are how me and I know a good amount of people on here learned about nofap. Is there anyway you could get them to watch it ? Even “accidentally”. Like say you’re watching something together and you pretend to stream it on accident or it was on autoplay.
 
I agree that might be inspiring if he actually listened to it. I'm pretty sure if he stumbled across it by accident he wouldn't give it the time of day though. I'll have to think of some way to get him to pay attention.
