Here to stay away from porn

Hey guys. I was browsing the subreddit for a while and decided that this would be a good place to remain focused on my life without porn. I have struggled with addiction most of my life. Originally with video-games and then with drugs. I have been clean from drugs for 1,5 years now which is wonderful. But I never considered my porn-watching an addiction until recently.

I have been watching porn since I was about 10 or 11 years old. I have never really struggled with maintaining my relationships while still watching porn until recently which is why I decided to quit. I don't think it will be to hard for me to stay away as I mostly just do it because I'm bored.

Anyhow, nice to be here and see you all trying so hard to better yourself. I certainly know the struggle!

Today has been alright. I have been struggling to get to the gym but finally got there today which is nice. How are you doing yourself?

Heya Bryan. I am 100% aware that it is super bad for me and negative in every way. What I was trying to convey in the OP is that I don't think it's hard for me to stay away from. My PMO counter is actually just for masturbation which I am trying to stay away from as my brain doesn't react well to the stimulation of that kind on the regular. But I am certainly realizing as of late that it was affecting me a whole lot more than I thought. Nice to see you my friend, hope all is well.

That sucks man, sorry you're in that spot right now. I used to be very sensitive to rejection or relationship problems of any kind. But I have since realized that I can just try my hardest to get a new relationship going that will probably be better than the last. I'm not really sure how I managed to realize that but somehow I did. But when I get rejected by someone I really love the next time maybe I won't be so independent minded, we'll see.

Haha. Yeah you're right that is really hard. I do go out of my way not to stare at women though, I know a lot of them feel uncomfortable at the gym because of that.

 

Who have successfully done what exactly? Stayed away from porn for a long time? But I see your point. I will check it out.
