Here's to getting healthy!

Hey everyone, my name is Giovanni, and I'm 24 years old I've been struggling with porn for 12 years. Like the title says, and why I imagine most are here, I want my life back. I've been feeling a lot of the effects of pornography in my daily life for quite some time and I feel as if beginning the rewiring of my brain is a long overdue process. I've had my pitfalls and relapses in the past, but never have I ever tried a support forum. I hope to meet some great people who are encouraging, supportive, and who I can grow with.
As I'm writing this now, life has taken a bit of an updraft, I got accepted into a school and a field I'm passionate about, a great internship opportunity lined up in the coming months, and I feel like I wanted to start this chapter of my life healthy with a stand against my addiction.
Porn is a hard topic to talk about, I have numerous friends who are there for me, but many of them don't actually think porn is a problem. But for me, I know I'm addicted, and I know I'm weak against it. I hope that here, I can confide in those who struggle similarly, and eventually help someone else in their own journey.
