Happy to see that so many people have joined us in this crusade!! I watched The Joe Rogan podcast yesterday and the guest was a neuroscientist who talked a lot about neuroplasticity and how to increase it effectively (amongst many other things). Neuroplasticity is integral for us in our pursuit of healing ourselves from this negative addiction. It let's your brain reorganize itself and create new neural pathways so that you can let go of old ones (old patterns of behaviour) and let yourself instead learn new ones (new patterns of behaviour). There's a lot of information packed into almost three hours but I would encourage you to take some bullet points while watching through this. I might take some and add them here later for future reference and to anyone who needs it. Turns out those cold showers actually kickstarts neuroplasticity which is why they may be so effective at combatting this demon. Pce
No worries bro! It actually makes recovering easier for myself as I feel a greater responsibility to stay clean now. I think it would affect morale in a bad way if OP relapsed after all
It's all good here. I might not report back tomorrow because I won't have my computer. Keep fighting, men
Time flies. Today is the ninth day. During this period, I had the desire to watch pornography, but I didn't think I should go to watch pornography. Although there is desire, but desire is not every day, maybe on that day, for a while, maybe a few days. We should grasp every day and not be confused by desire. come on.
Alright people!! We are now 33 participants! I'm officially closing this challenge to any new people as we have passed the 5th of august. Stay clean and have your name shine amongst the winners by the end of this month!!
