Hi everyone. I'm not an english speaker so I beg your pardon for my grammar mistakes.

I'm a 21 y.o. male. I've been addicted to porn since i was 14. Porn was so bad for me cause It made me more shy than I was, the result Is that nowadays I have few Friends and never had a girlfriend. This made me feel worst because I think all my Friends get/got girls and I don't and I think It makes me less manly.

I've decided to quit porn because I started to hate It and myself (I have Always thought "my Friends are with girls and I'm in front of my pc") I have low self-confidence and I WANT to change.

Today Is my day One. My best streak was 23 days. I failed too many times and now I want to stay on NoPMO for 90 days and After that I Hope my First Time Will come. That's my goal. Wish me luck

Can't wait to know all of you and help everyone with my humble thoughts. We're all on the same boat and I Hope we all will achieve our goals so good luck for you too.

I am a new member so if you want to give me some advices or secrets of your own experiences and also about how to use this site properly, I Will really appreciate It.

23 days NO PMO is great. Looks like you are doing serious efforts. 21 and no girlfriend? I was 27 when I had sex with a girl the first time. Today I think it would have been better to wait another year. Be patient - everything will come at the right time. Get rid of addiction and focus on what you really want: true happiness.

Heyyy welcome to the NoFap forum : ) It's nice to see you here fighting the good fight alongside us!

Here is just some advice:

First and foremost please take a look at each section in the forum, there might be something(s) you may find of big help to you. Feel free to post there :+)

Then secondly I just strongly advise you to be active on your profile(as there quite a few active people in the profile section). Please start by choosing an avatar and then make daily status posts to show you're active and needing support/encouragement. They've also got a neat little feature that shows freshly posted statuses for all users to see. People will find your profile and give you encouragement/support.

People (are beginning to) love communicating in the profilesection..(it should be and is )mostly spportive talk but it doesn't hurt to deviate from supportive talk. It would be great to have you join in and support others in the threads, profiles, and journal. Make sure and be grateful for the help you received and help after receiving some. Invest in some people's journeys. We could always use your help and in return you shall receive some as well!

Thirdly, You should also highly consider creating a public journal and write about your days in more depth for us members to follow along your journey and offer support to you by way of posting in your journal.

Last but not least: Good luck on your journey here, make sure to really give it a try with all your heart!

Hi. I’m new here too. RE “all my friends are with girls and I’m in front of my PC”.... Don’t get too hung up about what you believe other people are doing. Most young men go to great lengths to make it look like they are having loads of sex with girls to try and elevate their social status and gain respect among their peers. That doesn’t mean they actually are, or that they are happy. Often it’s an entirely false facade people put on to try and make themselves look better so don’t get yourself feeling down about it because most of it is fake. I was 22 when I lost my virginity which at the time I thought was embarrassing but now I’m 31 and have learned a lot more about people it’s actually very normal for guys to loose their virginity in their 20s. It’s not a race and it doesn’t mean there is anything wrong with you being a virgin at 21. Feeling happy and confident in yourself is the most important thing, which, also makes you a much more magnetic person to be around. I wouldn’t look at NoFap as a guaranteed route to getting a girl - that is an outcome that you can’t really control. I would look at it more as a journey to mastering your own energy and becoming more self aware and self confident, which will make you feel happier and more attractive in yourself, with or without a girlfriend. This positive self image will be reflected back to you in increased attention from others.
