About me

I am 21 years old guy. I live in Stockholm right now, but most of my life I lived in Prague Czech Republic. The reason I'm here? I took a gap year to work on myself and get some experience. I may actually extend that gap year for another year or two

How did I hear about NoFap? I have joined NoFap on 29th June 2012. Like most of other people, I was directed there through the TedX Talk by Gary Wilson. It wasn't by a mere chance though. I was looking for a solution on how to stop PMO since March 2011, but I have become sort of aware that I may have a problem on April of 2010. I didn't bother to deal with it though

First streak I have ever attempted was in July of 2011. I've made a decision based on a whim that I should just stop PMOing otherwise I'd go crazy. I went for 15 days. Then, I managed to live an ok life while still improving myself but I was still struggling with putting PMO to halt.

Then, there came the end of June of 2012. On 29th, I have discovered NoFap and decided to give it a go. I made it to 23 days back then while having a gf. At that time, I thought that NoFap is a thing of the past and I don't have to worry about it anymore. I deluded myself into thinking that I was cured. So, I began struggling again, barely making it over 5 days and losing all hope many times

On February 1st 2013, I have again mustered all strength I had again and went full 51 days without PMO. The main reason why I failed is, that I peeked at porn here and there + I didn't really have anything to do besides sitting at home + going to the gym for those 51 days. Therefore I have learned, that willpower is my strong trait, but I cannot solely rely on it.

My motivations to become a fapstronaut? I want to be my own master. I want to control my urges and not them controlling me. PMO is an escape behaviour which I want to completely remove from my life. In fact, I don't want to engage in any sort escapism for that matter!
