Hi New 18 y/o member here

    Hey everyone, nice to meet y'all. I'm looking forward to starting my journey and make changes for the better.

    I'm an 18 year old male who is about to head off to college. I've been dealing with masturbating since is was about 12/13 and I'm finally ready to quit. I've never really had an issue with porn but have done it lightly since around the time I started masturbating. I hope to get rid of this issue as well.

    I recently got out of a relationship of almost 2 1/2 years and am looking to improve myself. I recently started working out and now this is something I will add to my list.

    I'm glad I'm finally taking the steps to hold myself accountable for these bad habits.

    Glad that you realise porn is a problem and are trying to get rid of it.

    When I started, things were hard because I don't have the correct mindset, there's one book that talks about how easy it actually is to quit the porn/masturbation addiction, though the main focus is on porn addiction. It helped me out a lot and the only problem I had with it is I regret that I didn't find this book earlier, and I don't want anyone to relapsed as I did.

    I'll upload the book here and make sure you give it a go, I'm sure that you won't relapse unnecessarily as I did.

    Glad you’re here, man. Get ahead of this thing now and you’ll save yourself a lot of pain later on. Use the resources at your disposal. Connect with others, find an AP, journal. You can do this!
