Hello I am new in the forum and for months I have been trying to do the nofap but it is impossible, I started with the nofap because I started to suffer ED (and sometimes PE) with a girl and above all I worry a lot because I did not see an explanation to why It was happening to me. Regarding the relationship, it was partly ended by the DE, so I ended up very depressed etc. until I found this forum and a lot of people who are experiencing something similar to mine. Since I was young I have grown up with the PMO (1 or several times a day) and since I have seen this and I try to eliminate it completely, I have realized how difficult it is, just after 10 days and compulsively recap once or several times , on one occasion it lasts 28 days, but since then I have entered a spiral that leads me to relapse very easily. Someone could help me with methods etc. that are effective?

  2. howdy! I just joined as well to try and quit porn.
I think the most important thing to keep in mind is the sheer time it takes to rid oneself of these problems and to not beat oneself up for relapsing. it took me almost a year before I could get to two weeks without relapsing, and I haven't been able to top that since.
the methods that helped me lower my relapses the best (for porn viewing at least) were to get rid of unnecessary devices, install programs that block the sites I use the most for porn, and to keep my phone away from myself when in my room. I can't imagine how hard it is to start from where you are, but try to set little goals at first and build from there. it could be as small as two days, but then the next time you relapse you can go for three. then four.
the most important thing, in my opinion, is to never give up. even when I think I've hit my lowest, I know it can get a whole lot worse if I convince myself that I can't rise from it.

Welcome to NoFap. Try to reduce the amount of time you spend alone. Do something that will take your mind off of pornography and masturbation. Go for a walk through a forest, meditate, play basketball with some kids on your street, bake cookies for a friend who is sick, mow your neighbor's lawn, etc. When you're not spending time alone with your computer or phone, it's a whole lot different. You're not likely to view pornography when you're helping someone paint a fence.

Hey. On top of those mentioned above avoid triggers like certain movies or explicit chats in social media. The urges are stronger in the beginning and will start decreasing as you continue to avoid PMO. Also, spending time in here and watching no fab stories on YouTube helps, but keep in mind that it is a challenging process relapses could happen and you can learn from those
