Again, gay people absolutely do not experience what you are feeling, what you are feeling is literally the anxiety.

I advise you to make a serious effort to cut down on porn, if not quit it entirely, and see how you feel. I am sure you will notice these feelings start to go away with time. On top of that, take effort to practice techniques that will relax the mind when you get these attacks of worry and anxiety, such as breathing techniques, and actively reminding yourself of how irrational the thoughts are when they come. I also think actively pursuing relationships with women will reinforce how irrational the obsessive thoughts are, so do that too.

Thanks a lot. yeah i was on a 14 days streak of no pornand felt really good, saw something nude on instagram - went back to a porn actress and jerked off. but later the hocd came back. i have been on a 8 day streak of no porn but had a little bit of sneak peak on titty pictures- but i tried to blur my vision and not see it by semi closing my eyes. and i will continue not to see porn for a long time now because i know where this gets me. i have been trying to get a girlfriend so bad but nothing works out maybe i am just not so attractive- so i will now go to the gym regularly. Maybe ill fuck a hoe again to make sure once again

Reply to what? You haven't said anything new.

I would advise starting a new thread to talk about this instead of piggbacking off of someone elses. HOCD is a fairly popular topic.

In my opinion HOCD seems too much like conversion therapy for modern psychologists to accept. In the last 50 years or so, there has been a massive backlash against conversion therapy (probably deservedly so), and people think that dealing with HOCD equals conversion therapy.

I had HOCD for around an year plus during quarantine but when I went back to brick and mortar it pretty much went away. A strategy that I've heard to work is ERP or Exposure and Response Prevention where you're "immersed" into the thing that causes your OCD. So in school, I obviously socialized with other guys, and lo behold my anxiety went away.

Now I'll have to say that since the summer has started I've developed some anxiety again (I guess because I'm not socializing very much) but probably around 20% of that during my PMO-watching days.
