I'm currently 17 doing Hard Mode.
I relapsed, and like most other times it sucks. I go into a raw state where I am aware of every imperfection in my life. It's like someone's ripped the glasses off my face and I can see all my problems clearly. My mind frantically searching for a way to deal with this hollowness and pain but... all I can think of, are things that will possibly work.
For so long I've tried different ways of resisting urges. I'm not understanding why they don't work over a long period of time. I feel so weak, though I'm trying so hard. It seems as my efforts are not good enough :/
I don't know how to start building a better me, it seems money fixes everything (therapy, porn addiction programs, being healthy) but that's something I lack at the moment. Really quite depressing. Any advice would be appreciated.

  2. Forget about money fixing everything. There's no magic therapy that makes an addiction go away. You still have to do it yourself.

Do a bit of reading about different approaches if the one you're using isn't working.

    * Meditate to train your mental discipline
    * Remember urges will pass whether you PMO or not. Might as well not.
    * Try and view the exercise as gaining something good rather than giving something up.
    * Don't see it as such a big deal if you slip. Don't give the addiction that much power.
    * Feel good about leaving the addiction behind you. The future is brighter.

The idea that PMO is something you need is a trick. You don't need it. Just realise that you're better off without it.

  3. This thread is confusing. You have the poll about being injured from exercise but the OP has nothing to do with what the poll is about:emoji_dizzy_face:
