    Hello, everyone!
To begin with, my name is Dave; I am 19 years old and currently study at a university as a third year student. I cannot really say fapping has proven itself detrimental, but I still want to join the cause for several reasons:
    1) I want to eradicate this addiction as a whole
    2) From what I have heard, nofap can actually somewhat help the facial hair growth and when it comes to mine, it's a mess is all
    3) Because I am severely depressed after getting rejected by a girl I had feelings for, I feel this whole thing just adds up to turn my life into a mess (for what it's worth, I am doing just great at academics but no so great in social life)
Thus, tomorrow, I am planning to embark on this uneasy journey, but I am in need of your help. I cannot help but notice that I can get erections and precum while in public spaces with a lot of attractive females and although some people claim that it does not count as a relapse, it still feels like I have failed. As mentioned in 2nd point, I am in it for probable facial hair growth, so testosterone should - at least in my opinion - play some role in it. I also feel like I am getting easily exhausted but the MOST IMPORTANT reason for why I want to begin this whole thing is to be more confident with girls that I meet (I am a silent type of a person, which might have served as a reason for why I might have lost the chance to get close to the girl but anyhoo..)
Cutting straight to the chase, I want to know what exactly counts as a relapse in my case. I can tell you that I have completely cut off porn but erections with precum (sorry for the graphic details) are still there. As a matter of fact, I relapsed 5 minutes before creating this thread, so I am in a desperate need of help advices here. All in all, I hope one day, after reaching the first month without fapping, I can create a thread on improvements that I will have attained.
Thank you for sparing your time and reading this!

  2. Hi Dave!
You set your own objectives for your own improvement. I'd say if you have involuntary erections with precum, fine. If you compulsively provoke those erections,... not so fine.
Try to understand what is healthy and what is not healthy for you. Usually when you cannot control yourself is a sign that something is wrong, but the best way to find an answer to your question is to understand what is porn addiction and how it affects our body and mind. Another way is self-discovery, it is encouraged to start a journal to record your emotions, fears, hopes, triggers ... whatever might help you to get to know yourself and your sexuality better.

Good luck and see you around.

Why are those females attractive to you? Because you are a human being and there are some hormones in your body. Accept it. This is a place to get rid of P and M addiction- not to become a saint.

    Welcome to the Nofap community.
The NO PMO journey is not easy but worth the effort.
    The community will support you.

The idea of starting the 30-days-NO PMO-streak is great.
I recommend to install a counter and a personal journal.
