How cold is your cold shower?

I start with not so cold water and than slowly move to coldest. It is very cold water during the spring.

 

I had an epiphany (hopefully the correct word).
I now mix contrast, cold and hot showers on different days. They have different benefits, and I don't want to be locked to only one of them.
And yesterday I realized I don't want to turn the hot water on!
Hot shower feels tasteless now to me. Some kind of synesthesia.
Like cold water tastes refreshing to your throat and warm water tastes... dull. I have similar feelings in my body with hot and cold showers, although I drink only room temperature water.
It's kind of crazy!

 

I will do a hot shower if I have some aches or a headache and end with a cold.
