How did you hear about nofap?

After I couldn't get hard during sex, I vigorously researched for a few days what the hell is happening. Until I stumbled upon nofap.

 

From a podcast. A listener sent in an email about the practice of abstaining from fapping and how there were communities online growing as a result. He specifically named-dropped NoFap.

Funny enough the podcast hosts dismissed NoFap as unnecessary and carried on. But I was curious enough about it so it stayed on my mind. A few months later I had a life-changing encounter which led me to quit PMO once and for all, then I finally came here to learn more about how to do that effectively.

 

I was abducted by zombie lesbian vampire space aliens who introduced me to it and threatened to chop it off unless I abstained for 40 days and 40 nights.

I also found it on Google.

Ironically, I found the NoFap Reddit page while searching for porn.

 

As did I.

 

Lol well... I could get into details. But no need. Basically, certain topics that are common among Fapstronauts are arousing to me, so that's what I was looking for. Found it, but I also found something even better, which was the desire to quit this crap.

 

The word "edging" has multiple contexts.

 

I knew I wasn't the only one. NoFap must have been a couple of clicks away from whatever I was originally looking for--whatever that was. I looked at a couple of the comments on the first page I saw and realized I had a problem.

 

Personally, I think God has a good sense of humor.

 

When I heard of the word "fap", I thought it was a funny word. Then I had to look up nofap and discovered it was a movement. In my day it was just called jacking off or jerking off, not fapping.

 

Yeah I pretty much just typed in "Benefits of not masturbating" on Youtube which led me here. From time to time I still like to watch success stories where people talk about their enhanced senses.

 

I read a confession on facebook about how bad it is to watch porn,masturbate bla3...the confessor suggested this nofap website and it got me interested...so here i am registered and ready to start my 1st day...wish me luck

 

I don’t remember, I knew about this place for a couple years before I joined.

 

youtube after trying to quit by myself I started looking at videos and nofap kept being mentioned, my mind said check it out, best choice ever
