How do I know if I’m actually addicted to porn?

Hey guys,
I’ve been wondering, what exactly constitutes porn addiction? Because I’m not sure if I’m actually addicted to porn.

I mostly watch porn when I’m bored. Which is mostly on the weekends since I’m less busy then. I don’t really interrupt my day or any of my usual activities to watch porn.

However, I recently noticed I have a very hard time going 7 days without porn, especially if I have a free day which I spend indoors. When I’m idle it’s almost as if I can’t help myself. This eventually made me wonder if I’m actually addicted to porn.

So I’d like to know,
How much porn viewing constitutes addiction?

I think if you can't give it up (like you said 7 days) its probably an addiction.

One of the biggest problems with porn is our brains didn't develop to have that much stimuli going into it.

Also, stealing this from a different post. Porn is training you to be a cuckold. For thousands of years the only way we experienced sex was by actually experiencing it. You didn't watch it. That would mean looking in someone's window or tent and watching 2 people go at it. In porn you select a woman you find attractive and then you send her to a room to be fucked. While you pathetically fuck your hand in the corner watching. Do you really want to be a cuckold?

That is a classic sign of porn addiction. :( You should be able to stop using porn or masturbating unless you are addicted. So, challenge yourself to go without any sexual stimulation (via porn or masturbation) for a few months. :oops: That will give you brain chance to recover from this neurochemical damage. It is like your brain having a "reboot" to factory settings. :)

You know addiction when you prefer to be in your room with the door locked 24/7. I been there. I was in the bedroom behind the locked door playing cod mw2 and black ops while beating my meat to hentai and good amateur porn every during my 20-30 mins breaks. Now I don't got a room and I live with a lot of people. All I can say is..
It's not as easy as it use to be

You are addicted to porn if(That's just my view point in no away i am saying this is completely accurate,it is just how i see myself):
1. You watch it over hanging out with friends or family or people you love
2. Porn affects your daily tasks like you don't feel like studying or doing that thing you were excited to do after watching it
3. When you are getting bored of same kinda porn and searching for more extreme and extreme level porn
4. You keep on thinking about it even you are not watching it
5. You have found it hard to quit,if you weren't addicted to something you could quit it easily.

That's just my opinion. Peace out.

on a side not i struggle with same problem i could go without even thinking that i am on nofap until i keep myself busy. The moment i get off guard and let myself relax i slowly slip.
