Discussion in 'Abstinence, Retention, and Sexual Transmutation' started by Deleted Account, May 9, 2020.

  1. Everytime i accidentally glimpse a chick on the street or tv i just close my eyes and say to my self oh my god. How do i stop caring and be like meh its nothing, its whatever like after you bust a nut and see a hot women afterwards you’re like meh whatever.

Like for real, I was streaming some movie on a free website, and you know how they overdo the popups and where they sometimes lead. For a minute while trying to close a window, ended up seeing a lude image. It was sudden and my abstinence streak isn't that long that I'm resistant enough, my heart pounded and for a second, I was tempted, I won't lie. But then I thought of just how many X's were on my habit chain (a page I cross boxes off for each day I abstain) and how many times I actually tried this and kept screwing myself (no pun intended) in this quest for transmutation and then I looked at the woman. She was beautiful, yeah, but she was not mine. Just a body with zero personality to me, and I wondered if I still wanted to be part of this industry as one of the cogs keeping it running, this objectifying system that holds all genders in bondage. I felt nothing at that moment, all that picture had been were breasts, cute skin and nice hair, and the people had the personality of a cat for all I cared. I closed the window and now I need to get a streaming service that doesn't keep pushing that stuff in my face. I wasn't about to blow my streak over a useless fantasy when that energy could be going into better things, like my work. I realise that it's all a mindset, and we always fail when we're not 100% on the side that we want to be on.

I think at some point we have to understand on a visceral level that we're all just sacks of meat. Stop worshipping the sack of meat and focus on the thing that actually gives that sack of meat value, the soul, spirit and mind. It's that association we make, the objectifying of people, into things to have sex with that makes it harder to control ourselves. We are in effect idolaters, worshipping bodies, and slaves to our lowest urges until we see things for what they are and reclaim control over our sense of self and dignity.

You don't. Anyone who has done a little meditation might appreciate the idea of watching it without acting on it, but aside from that you also have to own it. Owning it isn't automatically mastering it but it's an important distinction from the arms length kind of witness consciousness that may result in dissociation. When you relapse you might want to disown it, but it is a part of you. We have bodies and that's part of what bodies do.

What can happen is through developing yourself, which doesn't mean being self centered or an ego focus that can become a small part of you, in which case the matter of mastering it becomes smaller too because you're just more occupied with other worthwhile things in life. You are still a person with a body and its lust, but that's a smaller and smaller part of you.

And the self at that point is just a different person from the self now asking the question how to master lust.

That’s the question all of us are on the journey of finding the answer to!

  9. Excellent question. Lust is something which our cultures have taught us to do. Instead of respecting women like our mothers or sisters, we have been taught to sexualise them. Think about the most basic porn videos these days and what they are doing to our mind. Then we walk out to the public, and no doubt our minds will still be ticking from the 'substance i.e. video' we watched. And for those of us prone to addiction, this makes the battle more difficult.

I deal with lust by identifying that person as a human, she isn't your property (like the porn videos) teach us. She is a person, and deserves respect.

On the other hand if she is coming onto and flirting and stuff, then that is a different matter. But if you are 'lusting' on an innocent walker by purely because of attractiveness, you need to train yourself to see her as a human, not a sex object.

With practice it will slowly come, but sadly our over sexualised world does not make it easy.

  14. Women need constant aproval of their beauty from others thats why nowdays 99% of women wear and act as sluty as possible. Thats the new standard and you can bring any master of meditation and if he encounters a women wearing a slutty outfit with curves and big body parts then there’s no fucking way he wont lust cuz every brain is the same, its the natural instict to procreate you cant delete that from your mind. That’s why brahmacharya requires you to not even come in contact with a woman cuz thats an instant relapse.

  15. It's a simple answer. Some wouldn't even believe it to be an answer. But if you look close enough, you will realise that it's the truest answer.

You see when you begin to really love people, you see them as human beings and the main issue with porn is that it transforms people into objects and therefore takes away our power to resist gradually and silently.

Love isn't all about sex. It's such a complex yet intuitive thing. I can't define it, you can't read about it, it just happens to you and your life is changed for good. Nature, people, family, friends, pets etc. Everything becomes so much easier for you to understand and interact with.

(Some may find it to be too cheesy, xD, and to them I have nothing to say, if you know it, you know it.)

  16. That's a wrong statement. You will find many girls out there who do not give two ducks about their looks, sad thing is that you won't pay them any attention either because you aren't looking for a person, you are looking for goods.

And yeah, such girls are rare, but no more rarer than guys who do not care about their cars or hair or face.

Be accountable for your own actions. 7 deadly sins are inside you, and you can't expect to blame others for installing them in you. When all is said and done, the choice has always lain in your hands.

  17. Im pretty sure in Brahmacharya there is a possibility to reach a peak point where you look at a naked woman and no longer feel any sexual arousal. But thats like pure peak. Monk vibes.

  18. Honestly man I dont believe its achievable unless you reached enlightenment

Much of this has probably been said here already but when you stop putting women on a pedestal (treating them like princesses, of which none of them are deserving) and see them for what they really are (i.e. energy drainers and attention seekers for the most part).
Instead, dedicate your time and life towards bigger and greater goals and purposes such as starting a business/focusing on your career, working on your physique/exercising, and learning and acquiring new skills that will benefit you in the future. This will draw your attention away from women and with time (as money and resources come your way) they will be drawn to you instead, like a magnet.

It is much about delayed gratification and visionary thinking, the stark opposite to busting a nut which is a form of instant gratification that will feel good at the moment but only give you more troubles as time goes by.
