    I keep reading about artworks being sold using the blockchain technology.
    I don't know much about it.

    Off the top of my head with a cryptocurrency wallet you can store cryptocurrency like Bitcoin. They provide you with an address where people can send you cryptocurrency. So you can join like an eCommerce site where they sell artwork and receive crypto-money sent to your address as payment for the artwork you sell. Then you can convert that into real money by selling the Bitcoins online.
