Not watched porn now in 3 weeks and feel no effects at all.

Feels like there's a huge disconnect between my penis and brain.

Guessing it's dopamine deficiency? How and when will I start recovering?

    Could dopamine die permanently?

  3. Cut it off! Just kidding. The natural sex drive is vital to our energy level, but the key is to CHANNEL this drive into positive action. According to ancient yoga teaching, there is a coiled serpent sitting at the base of your spine, called kundalini. This energy can be directed upward through the spine rather than through the penis. Obviously the penis is not just for sexual use, so it still serves a function, but we don't have to waste our precious semen and exhaust ourselves through ejaculation. Competitive fighters abstain before matches for a reason!

It is not dopamine deficiency. You have frazzled your dopamine receptors. They will recover in time. But you need to stop all hypersexual stimulation via masturbation and porn in order to reboot the brain back to 'factory settings' so to speak. This will take many months of unbroken abstinence. Meanwhile, your penis will temporarily remain limp and even shrink.

Why would this have happened after a orgasm via sex though. I'd not watched prom 3 weeks prior. I don't get why sex brought this on?

Three weeks is commendable, but is a very brief time to expect any kind of recovery.

Then that means that your brain needs a long recovery to get back to normal.

Your brain (dopamine, etc.) will recover only by time and abstinence. There is nothing you can do about it.

  20. You say 3 weeks and your counter says 500+ days.

You need to keep an accurate count of your days.
