How does one stop having an emotional response to politics?

    I beg anybody who has achieved stoicism or something similar to impart some wisdom. I find my whole day being ruined because of some politicized hashtag trending on twitter or some stupid irrelevant opinion some provocateur spouts. How does one stop caring?!?

    You can't react to what you don't see. In case it's really stupid, you can just cut the source off. Do you really need to browse twitter? However, if the issue is serious then perhaps an emotional response is correct and you ought to try and do something about the thing that's bothering you.
