We shall see my friend, we shall see. This is my first attempt but I'm going about it a little differently than the normal reboot methods I've seen here. Going for the no excuse route and fully accepting my actions, I am completely dedicated mind and soul to this. Later on the normal stuff didn't do it for me anymore. One day I stumbled across BDSM porn. the pain inflicted to the subject was so sensational. I then almost got used to it when I found gay BDSM. But things really became a lot worse after I tried to abstain from porn for a while without success. Every time I relapsed, I got deeper and deeper. Every time I relapsed, I escalated to even more disturbing porn. In the course of just a couple of weeks, I escalated from the genres I mentioned above to throatfucking, anal fisting, prolapse, torture and humilation porn.

After another year of relapse after relapse, everything became even worse again. I came across puking porn, scat porn, beastiality, femdom and gooning. I am disgusted by myself for watching those things, but I go back to those genres anyways whenever I relapse. I can't seem to find a way around it anymore.

As you can see, porn itself drove me to unhealthy genres. But constant relapses pushed me even further into my addiction. I can't imagine genres, which could be much worse than where I ended up. I am so thankful, that I never watched child pornography. Otherwise, I probably would have ended up in jail at some point.

I don't think, that that's it. I was watching the "softer" variants of porn for almost 8 years without much escalation at all. It was only beginning to become worse, once I tried to stop. Trying to stop for a couple of days, followed by relapses is what makes you escalate even more. There is also an article on YBOP.com about the topic, if you're interested.
