So I've had a few streaks in the past, one lasting around 30 days. My longest to this date (I relapsed yesterday) was 51 days. I had some serious temptation, watched a music video (Nicki Minaj - Barbie Dreamz), and had about a literal 30 second fap session with O. After that I closed my laptop and did not binge or look at anything else that would be triggering or stimulating.

I felt okay afterwards, with little to no brain fog and I still had sufficient mental clarity. Today though I do feel pretty shitty and unmotivated.

How far back does one brief relapse set you? Do you lose all the progress you made, or is it just a minor setback in the grand scheme of things?

  2. How far back do you want it to set you?
The counter goes to zero if you use one but don't let that deter you. Use this as learning and get back up and keep going. You have more days PMO free than the relapse. You have learned and have grown.

Benefits wise though should I expect to see a significant reduction?

  4. One quick stumble and then back to work again? I don't think you will have much reduction. Beware the urge to keep slipping up though, that can be quite strong.

id say each relapse halves your streak. one wont remove all your benefits. its best to just reset your counter though.
