how logn have you been on nofap?

I started in 2010 and tried for six years before I got this streak. I had some long streaks (one of 22 months) but I always relapsed and fell back into porn use. But not this time: I'm on Day 1,672

It's interesting that both @Mr.Tony and I answered your question with big numbers, but neither of us said we succeded. For me this is a lifetime project. One analogy is an overgrown garden. As you start work clearing away brambles it seems impossible, but eventually you have a garden. But you still need to keep weeding. It's easier, but it still needs doing.

But I guess success looks different depending on your goals. What are you trying to fix @darksoul57681?

20 years and I have succeded

 

For 3 months only till now.

 

ever since i started fapping, i never really felt good about and guilt keep on accumulating which totally ruined my life, i started from once a week for first few months to multiple times day, it ruined my confidence and school life as i couldn't concentrate and was always anxious, i have been serious about stopping it since 2010 but never really went more than a week or two. My first real attempt to stop it happened in mid-2012 when i went to a rehab for couple months, there i was clean for 2 months and then after returning 2 more months at home and those 4 months were just amazing, i felt peace, clarity and it totally healed my dandruff but one day i forced one out and i wasn't even horny, all my lust was gone so that was a really stupid decision, i still wish i was more sensible at that time, my life today would have been totally different. Last 3 years i have several multiple months streaks but none were ever even close to what i felt at that time, now being more than 8 months clean it's getting alot better looking a things since past week and if it keeps on improving like that than i would totally believe nofap has done wonders for me once again and it's never too late.

 

So you started fighting porn when you were 12! How did that work? And how does a 20 year streak stack with this:

What do you not understand I've been fighting fap for 20 years and I've evolve and being doing many long streaks since then.
