In my 11 to 20 years, I became addicted to pornography. At the age of 17, I started my first NoFap attempts and I had constant progress. Several times I had a month without fap, but in the last 10 months I have masturbated too much with porn. I want to start recovering. I recently jerked off 4 times. My balls are small, my back and body ache. How can I recover faster and what do I need for this? Who has recovery experience? How long will it last?

  2. Brethren, each of our journey to recovery is different and will vary. You have to trust that you are doing the right thing and take it day by day. Exercise and proper nutrition will help your recovery long term but Brethren please "Trust the Process"

Since you started your journey: How much have you improved your self esteem? How much better do you feel when getting out of bed and having no urges to release through a projection, but read a book or call a friend instead? When you perform a task, doesn't it feel good be clear minded and concentrated through and when you are done with it? The recovery you are experiencing have to analyzed in terms of: How much better am I exercising my individuality and finding who I am without the need of constant external stimuli? Most of us search for aproval and fitting a molds, if you guide your recovery process with those standards you are lost. Compare yourself to your old "me" and just see how much better life is that when you woke up to sexually interact with a device.

You have to let go of porn and masturbation period. No ands ifs or buts. It's good you're just 20 and aware that you have a problem. Start by telling some of your friends/family about your problem and hit the gym and meet women. Put some blocks on your computer or phone. To answer your question really depends on how dedicated your are to your recovery and how addicted you are. I would assume anywhere from 3 to 7 months, could be longer could be shorter, the only way to find out is to stop pmo.
