How many times have you tried quitting PMO?

Innumerable times. So far this is a 40 year struggle for me. Actually I've got a lot further some times in the past that right now but this feels by far the most stable and hopeful yet. Right now I'm just over 60 days having previously got to around six months once, five months once and a few other times over three months. The difference is, this time it's more based on understanding what's going on (YBOP, The Brain that changes itself etc) and less on sheer brute force and will power which for me just isn't enough.

Once you understand the way the brain works it's much more motivating to keep going. The longer you keep clean the more likely you are to make it even further - which is a really encouraging thought!

 

It's been thousands of attempts over an 8 year period
