How much of de ''hocd'' sufferers are actually gay in denial?

    I've said before that I suffered from HOCD, but this is not the case anymore. May be the HOCD is still there, but I'm not suffering from it anymore. That means that whether or not I still have HOCD depends on the definition: In case you say that having a few uncertain gay thoughts every now and then equals to having HOCD, I still have it. But in case you say HOCD is a disease, and a disease can only be considered one as long as you actually suffer from it, I'm confident to say that I am healed, mostly.

    I still think that the key is to make an emotional connection the basis of all your sexual interactions and let fantasy remain fantasy. HOCD will cease to be a problem, then, at least over time... and yeah, stop watching porn of course, that stuff just disrupts your inner peace.

    At this point, I wouldn't exclude being with a man at some point, but I can hardly imagine it, because I can hardly imagine building up the emotional intimacy necessary for that. I am expecting to find a girlfriend again and be with her as long as it is meant to be. In life, you come across many people you find attractive... you can't have sex with everyone of them... nor do you have to.
