Hey guys I'm new in this forum and I decided to post here because I posted on reddit but nobody read it. I couldn't write my entire story so I wrote on notepad and then took a screenshot. I hope I can get some answer.
I've read all of that. Sorry about your grandfather. We have a lot in common. here are some links to other posts that I feel you'd like. https://www.yourbrainrebalanced.com...ughts-on-rebooting-extremely-long-post.15558/ http://www.rebootnation.org/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=7g07pnjh8ivpjk8umrj15eeb10&topic=1256.0
Conveying and understanding your history is a step in the right direction. Identify the triggers that lead to PMO and try to express them and deal with them one-by-one. Stay strong! Have you tried using blocking software? It is not a complete solution, as one needs mainly to develop willpower, but it is helpful. For example, I have the internet browser and new app installation on my phone blocked.
Hey man. Thank you for your reply When I had a pc I used a plug-in very useful to block porn websites. Now I only use my cell phone cuz I no longer have my pc. But that's still hard. Marturbation is not my problem but pornography is. I can't imagine myself marturbaring only with my thoughts. Sounds like it's waste of semen. But I know it's waste with or without porn. Idk if there is some plug-in to Android phones?
On the iphone there is an option to set a restriction code. Normal use is probably for parents to block content for kids...might be called "parental controls". It allows you to turn off specific functions (like internet browser and installing new apps) unless the code is typed in. I leave the code at a relative's house, so I could get it back but there is a barrier to it. I imagine there is something similar on Android. If you must have a browser there are probably safe browser apps you can install. Like I think there is a K9 browser.
@SullivanKyle I really hope you get better. And you better read those links he sent. They are EXCELLENT!!!! You are misssing out of you don’t. Virgin, i salute you, for posting these. Good man, i had read the first link last week, my friend had sent it to me
One thing to be careful about is when you are testing blockers and the blocker happens to fail - don't use that as an excuse to relapse.
