Does anyone know how to stop online ad images?
I was writing something and went to Dictionary.com and there was an ad for t-shirts with a good looking woman in a tank top with great cleavage. I had the urge to go look at other images. I did click through to the website and I didn't look at other sites.
I then went to post here.
    Help!!!

I know what you mean, it is far too easy to see suggestive stuff when you don't want to. My advice is to avoid the sites which have suggestive advertising, or to ignore the advert if possible

K9 has an option to block ads.

Or use Adblock or Adblock Plus (the one I use) if you use Chrome or Firefox.

Adblock Plus on Chrome can also block Facebook ads - both on the sidebar and when viewing photos.
(Usually you always get those with "so and so only lives 3 miles away and wants to be in touch with you" and then there is tits and ass on the pic).

Thanks. Got AdBlock Plus and installed in all by browsers

  6. Definitely Adblock Plus. It should be a standard part of any browser! On top of that, what has already been said, certain ads only appear in certain webs.. so try to avoid those!
