    Expose yourself to them.

Never hide, because they will always haunt you.

If it really does affect you, make a lifestyle shift. Find a place that you can go to for solace that you can build yourself in without much distraction. Such will be your new workplace. Don't actively search for triggers, (don't ogle across the street, don't worry about models in the mall), and do your best to understand that those "triggers" were not at once thought to illicit porn-induced, or objectively lecherous, behavior. Those triggers are just people being people, expressing themselves in a fashion/behavioral way.

  4. Don’t mind them, there is no avoiding, there is only you getting stronger because you see them and you don’t succumb.
Just enjoy beauty when you see it but don’t stare, we are better than that. Let them express themselves. It is not the women that are evil , it is the porn.

Yeah, I'm really impressed by how eloquent and powerful that was written. Porn gives us nothing less than a contorted worldview and mental distresses, much like anything else that's cheap, say cigars, pipes, etc. They all foster the human longing for transitory relief/gratitude. Terrible shit to feed the mind. Just terrible.

It is terrible indeed, very terrible.
I will focus on Erasing the Flashbacks / Images - That still happens within my brain! The 2nd year of recovery!

It's true, I could say that i managed to abstain from PMO / SEX for a period of 9 Months so far, thank God and Everyone in this wounderful community, but honestmy though, My brain still has crazy flashbacks and images and names of P.Stars...

I really wounder how long it will take finish this off completely, one thing i mearnt about myself - I have a strongly iron will - Once i'm in and i'm in 100%.

It was a 11 years of PMO... sadly.

    True!

In conservative societies we don't have this usually, i was woundering how you guys deal with women with short skirts and tight pants and overly exposed clothing, I was woundering how you deal with such thing when going out ? does it trigger ? how you deal with it ???

In the past, I did the whole 90 days rebooting challenge, and I found the more I abstain from porn the easier it gets to control my self when I'm exposed to triggers.. but recently since I started to pmo more frequently I find that triggers have more impact on me :(

    Dont look at them

These triggers aren't taking up your whole eyespace so look at something else

I know it can be hard but this is what true strength is

If they are simply advertisements and inanimate objects or photos, I have been working to simply ignore them. I don’t want to be controlled by Pavlovian stimulus marketing anyway. It’s something that gives me a clearer head. I will decide where I focus. I will decide what I think about. Marketers and corporations will not decide that for me.

If they are women, I find that two things are important for me if I want freedom from them and the bondage of PMO:
    1. I must not objectify them and lust over them. I must not undress them in my mind or begin to fantasize. If I slip into fantasy, I’m losing.
    2. I must not hate them or resent them. Fear and hate often drive us to become that which we despise. If I hate them, I will end up obsessing over them and this will drive me to fantasy hatred and eventually PMO.
I used to always be on the look out for girls to lust over and fantasize over to find some novelty that would put fuel in my PMO tank. No more.

If you want freedom, it’s 100% not 99%.

  13. There is not much to elaborate on. When you cross a beautiful woman it is ok to look at her but don’t follow her around with your eyes. Just enjoy the moment, say hi or nod and don’t look back. Fantasizing is a no go because your brain will keep coming back for more but a quick glance never hurts anyone.

I am very curious myself, after just 7 days I keep thinking about old favorite videos so I can expect this to continue for years if I am anything like you are. I hope I will forget my favorite URL’s in time.
I do believe/hope that time will do what it always does. Our memories of porn should slowly become nothing but a very short flash. When I look back at girls I thought were hot in high school or college I find that now over a decade later I simply forget what they looked like or I even forget they existed in the first place.
It should be the same with porn videos or porn stars if you are into them. It will never be completely erased but slowly I think it will be nothing more than a very distant memory.

I used to be a Die hard Fan of the first Naruto Anime, when i was 14 years old, I used to love it! I liked it! So much!

My father took it off for a while, I remember having this urges to watch it again and again ( It helped me improve my French Language, Though! :p )

A few years later, I guess just 2010 - 2011, I never thought about watching it ever again or even caring about it anymore.

This proves your point! As ling as we abstain from it for a long time, especially a Real STOP! I think time will heal you up...

I'm willing to give 3-4 years of NO PMO / NO SEX until my brain comes back to it's normal state!

I want to feel love and enjoyment once again.

I'll make the next year severe than this one!
