So for the last three months I've been doing a lot better, but still seem to relapse after ever 7-21 days. I know what my triggers are and when I'm feeling urges. But my question is this:

How do you get OUT of the situation when you're feeling those urges?

Last night, for example, I relapsed. I tried to go to bed early so I could get my sleeping back on schedule, but I couldn't fall asleep. So I went on my phone. I recently bought an alarm clock so that I won't need my phone in my bedroom, but I'm slowly transitioning from my phone to my alarm clock so that I'm not sleeping in/snoozing my regular alarm clock too much.

Hi Søren. There are many ways, none of them is really easy (or i didnt find it).

    1) The first think is, as you found out, try to avoid those triggers. So use your alarm clock as much as you can and leave your phone in other room.
    2) Keep myself busy works for me too. If im busy and i stay away from triggers i even dont think about anything wrong. I keep a book on my nightstand and its fun, it help me fall asleep and keep me away from P.
    3) Try to cut it off as fast as you can. Do you see smth what triggers you? Close it and look away. Dont let it overwhelm you.
    4) Trigger spotted? Go back to 2) In this cases exercise often help me. I hate exercise but few pushups help me forget about P. Or short walk, or even run. Everything that works for you.
    5) If no 3 fails remember, it's never too late to stop. You may fail, but its no excuse to continue. Its not all or nothing. Every second counts. Choose the right way.

You will make it, i believe in you. just keep trying, buddy.

    Good luck on your journey
