How to deal with high sex drive?

So I am 27 days in and have noticed my sex drive getting higher and higher and this is making me want to relapse as I wont be having sex for a long time (girlfriend wants to wait to marriage and I want to wait a year at least). And when my girlfriend and I have made out I've been tempted to hint at going further but I know she dosnt want to do anything further yet
Any advice for addressing all this?
 
There is a time after you stop doing things that the drive and urges will be very high along with increased sensitivity. This is normal as your brain fights to get what it wants and you have stopped doing things. This does calm down in time.
 
As for the whole thing with making out with your girlfriend, learn to be present and content with what you have in the moment. If you want to make things a little more exciting. try long hugs, long moments of staring into each others eyes, synchronized breathing.

roughly how long do you think that takes
 
Not one that's easy to say as everyone is different. A couple weeks to a month maybe.
