How to get through the flatline (faster

    Hey guys I'm gonna post some stuff that helped me get through my flatline. For me, it lasted about a week and a half and now I am feeling reborn. Literally I feel like I am getting a second chance at life. I have energy to do more than just drag through the day. I've been on top of my school work, finding more work for my business I started, managing my finances, going to the gym, exercising at home, and making new friends because I'm not afraid to talk to people anymore. Most importantly, I feel un underlying sense of joy that follows me throughout the whole day, even if I'm feeling temporarily sad or stressed. Anyway, here's what worked for me.

    1. Stay optimistic, you will get through this and it will get better fast. You CANT loose if you don't give up.
    2. Stay committed no matter what, no matter how strong the urge.
    3. Cold showers for 2-5 minutes. You don't need longer than that to see benefits.
    4. Meditate. Every single day. Some days I mediated 3 times. Calm app is great for guided meditations (which I recommend) if you're trying to stay off youtube.

    5. Stay off social media.
    6. Push ups or some form of exercise really helps.
    7. For me cutting out coffee really helped because I noticed that it was stressing me out.
    8. Participate in the forums on here, don't just be passive.
    9. Get an AP. I have like 6 including a group of 15 people. I always have someone to reach out to when I'm struggling or want to share my success.

    These are all just suggestions that worked for me. You might find some of them useful, or all of them. It seems like every time I relapsed I got motivated to add another thing to my list until it grew to that size. Do yourself a favor and don't do that. You cant quit porn tomorrow or next week. You can only do it NOW.
